TIP #2: Scratches
It is always a good idea to review your day's 'work'. You might also consider checking Slew's results as a part of that routine. For example, scratched horses can be important for upcoming races. Trainers will scratch a horse entered in multiple events after deciding which race presents the best opportunity for a victory... and a purse. For new users, reviewing the results page can provide clues as to how to best use Slew and what profiles might be helpful in the future. To that end, I will from time to time add winning wagers and their payoffs so you can see the variety of ways Slew can help. I have also begun to add multiple race/runner wagers to my "Tellers Window" listing on the main page. Bragging? I think not, moolah breath. But with the number of inquiries regarding Slew's use on the increase, I think examples serve more efficiently in pointing out opportunities. I have also decided to include the use of ALL button wagers in doubles and pick 3 races that feature unreliable horses. I'm not ashamed to do this when necessary! These races are reliable in one aspect only: they produce large payoffs in multiple race wagers because bettors use standard handicapping principles which, with unreliable horses, often do not apply. So check the results on a regular basis, and devise your own uses...and 'tips'!And as always...good luck and good 'capping!
